The excursion and picnic given : by the Sunday School of St. Paul's Episcopal Church yesterday at the Hummocks was attended by some six or seven hundred people, all of whom spent a delightful day. Mr. D. H. Walsh, who met with the misfortune of breaking both bones of his left forearm - by a fall , Wednesday evening, was reported yesterday as suffering great pain, but otherwise doing welL The First Baptist Sunday School will give an excursion on the Sylvan Grove to-day to Carolina Beach. The boat will leave her wharf at 9.80 a. m. and 2.80 p. m. Refreshments will be served on the boat at city prices. The City Clerk and Treasurer has sold so far this season over nine hundred dog badges. This beats the record even of last year.
