Dec. 10.- The third State-wide meeting of the North Carolina Council on the Emer gency in Education will be hel-d at the Sir Walter Hotel in Ra leigh -Monday night. December 17, at 8 o’clock. B. C. Siske, Greensboro. State Chairman, an nounces. The two previous ineet- iug.s were held in Greensboro, the fir.st about a year ago and the second in October. Immediate needs of the pub lic schools, the teacher training schools and the institutions of higher learning will make up the program, which will be par ticipated in by several State or ganizations. The object of the council, Mr. Siske explained, is to coordinate the efforts for education in this emergency by -uch groups as Parent-Teacher a.ssociations.
