The daily tours, con ducted by many clubs, were of partieulsr interest to me. The tours are entirely free. They cov er points of historic Interest and might be for a distance of 80 or 40 miles round trip. They not only furnish transportation but even throw in a guide. One in a strange land far from home conld scarcely fall to appreciate such advantages”. And still another comment is the following paragraph from a letter by Pvt. Norman Hrvln, of Fort Knox, Ky., to Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Bouknlght: "I never thought about the work that the Red Cross was do ing until I came here. They don’t get half the credit they deserve. I am using some of their ink now, and have been reading their books and magazines since I have been here. They send a lady around every day to run errands for you, get cigarettes or anything you need. You won’t hear me ever say anything against them and when I do get out of the army I will give more to them than I ever did before. I have on a bathrobe and pajamas that they furnished and am listening to a phonograph that they put In our ward, so you see it would be a dull place without them”, V God, bt OBtW. »>v* Mkw^iwtth « MtiMai%- Iomifb dtip,'iiiviiMr God M Sb, Oft.
