Mrs. Minnie Myrtle Barnard,
63, wife of Lonnie T. Barnard,
well known resident of Cricket;
died at home Monday afternoon
following a stroke Sunday.
Funeral was held Wednesday,
two p. m.,, at Union Methodist
church.
Mrs. Barnard was a daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. C.
Lewis, of the Lovelace commun
ity of Wilkes county.' Surviving
are her husband and two daugh
ters: Mrs. Claude Caudill, of
North Wilkesboro; and Mrs.
John D. Hines, of Arlington,
Va.
