Triplett entertained for the members of the Ez-Aloog club at her home on Ninth Street Friday evening having guests for three tables of bridge. Prizes for high and second high scores were awarded to Mrs. Ray Hoover and Mrs. E. S. Cooper. Tempting re freshments were served by the hostess during play. Mrs. Fred Emerson Entertains Her Club The Round Table club members and three additional visitors, Mesdames F. G. Forester, Johnson J. Hayes, and Boyd Stout, were en tertained Friday afternoon by Mrs. Fred Emerson at her home in Wilkesboro. A dessert course was served At the beginning of play. Purina Salesman Attended Council Ernest Robinson recently re turned from Albemarle, where he attended a two-day Feeding Ad visory Council sponsored by the Ralston Purina Company and held at the Albemarle Hotel. Ernest Robinson was one of 3" men selected from Purina deal ers' stores in the South Atlantic region for this intensive training course. Ernest Robinson was given in struction in the feeding, man agement and sanitation of live stock and poultry. He and all members attending this Council visited farms near Albemarle where they could study actual poultry and livestock operations. They were given training in recognition and treatment of di sease problems. This Council at Albemarle was the second in a series of five. Upon the successful completion of the course, Ernest Robinson will be given a diploma as a graduate Feeding Advisor and will receive a gold ring from the Ralston Purina Company in recognition of his work. o President Truman has pro claimed the week beginning July 24 as National Farm Safety Week.
