Est. 1-31-28 Poultry Sale Monday The usual poultru route will be made Monday thru the county. Mr. Artz gives out this bit of informa* tioni: During the past year several adults have been keeping monthly records on their flocks. A summary of their records follows: Average number farms keeping records, 4.2; Av. birds per farm 42; Av. number eggs per bird per year 101; Av. feed cost per farm $57; Av. feed cost per doz. eggs 16c; Av. Av. feed cost per bird 13 l-2c; Av. price per doz. eggs 32c; Ay. return above feed cost per bird $1.37; -The demonstrators were: Mrs. W. A. Kirby, Mrs. F. M. Burgess, Mrs. J. W. Thompson, Mrs, C.V.Elliot, Mr. R. L. Pearson. Special Notice ,to All Owners ot Dogs Tryon Town Commissioners call special attention to Section 14 of the Town Ordinance which reads as follows: “That it shall be unlawful for any person owning or having the custody of any dog to allow or permit such dog to run at large within the cor porate limits of the town, unless said dog be muzzled or leashed. Any dog found running at large by any of the police officers of the Town of Tryon shall be kept and impounded and the owner of said dog notified, if such owner can be found. Any dog not claimed within ten days shall be killed. Any person claiming any impounded dog shall be required to pay the costs for impounding and keeping said dog. Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, ot who shall hinder any officer from doing his duty, shall pay a fine of ten dollars/’ Bulletin $1.50 a Year
