Masons Meet Fridag 38th District Masons will meet Friday at 4 p.m. at Orr’s camp for picnic supper, and at Hendersonville at 6:30 in the lodge for business sesssion. Robs. Murdock Shot A ccidentallg Robert Murdock, 16 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Murdock was shot in the side accidentally yesterday morning when his gun slipped from his hand to the ground. He is at home critically ill. Copt. Hamilton Loses Leg The Decatur, Ala. paper to O.S.Bird of Tryon reports that Capt. Edgar G. Hamilton of the French Foreign Legion must have a leg amputated as a result of wounds received in battle recently with tribesmen of North Africa. Capt. Hamilton visited Tryon last spring.
