Boone left Wash ington yesterday for Louisville, Ky., to attend the annual banquet of Kentucky Colonels given by Governor Laffoon. Colonel Boone was appointed by Governor Laf foon several weeks ago. Other Kentucky Colonels are Will Rogers, Clark Gable, Mae West, Irvin S. Cobb, Bruce Barton, Eddie Cantor and a string of other notables. New guests at Oak Hall are Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Benson of Winnet ka, 111.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Langley of Detroit, Mich. Tne Trvon Kiwanians will meet Tuesday at 1 p. m. at Lake Lanier Tea House.
