Arrive In Try on
All Tryon extends its welcome
today to the Carolinas Historic and
Scenic Tour. North Carolina is
rich in glorious historical events
and beautiful scenery, but Tryon’s
wealth is not buried in its past,
nor does it have the most beautiful
scenery. This community’s great
est asset is found in its climate,
and in its interesting people who
are living a fascinating present.
They come to Tryon from all parts
of the world and have seen the big
things the old globe has to offer,
but they like Tryon best. They
say that Tryon has the best year
lound climate of any place in the
world. They find fellowship here
among fellow travelers and to
gether they entertain themselves
with their own activities such as
horseback riding, hiking, tennis,
!>golf, amateur dramatics, excur
sions to the mountains or follow
ing some hobby.
Something in the invigorating
atmosphere and personality of the
people gets hold of visitors atnd
draws them back year after year.

last days here; Mrs. Calvin Cbol
