John Foster Dies John roster, 67, well - known farmer of Skyuka mountain sec tion, died about 6:30 o’clock this morning following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Friday after noon. Interment in Williams fam ily graveyard. The deceased is survived by his widow and one son, Joe Foster, and 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; also two broth ers, Dave and Charlie Foster; and one sister, Mrs. Angie Bridgeman. Negro Is Given Seven Years In State’s Prison Columbus, Jan. 29.—Ralph Peak, negro, charged with the slaying of Floyd Csnady, negro, entered a plea of guilty of manslaughter in Polk county Superior Court on Wednesday and was sentenced by Judge Will Pless to serve seven years in State’s prison.
