Sam ples are the clerks for Tax Lister, Jim Fisher. Good Friday Services Good Friday sei’vices will be held tomorrow in the Church of the Holy Cross. Morning prayer and sermon 11 a. m., and evening prayer 5 p. m. Congregational: 7:45 p. m. Good Friday services. Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln will speak on the subject, ‘ The Way of the Cross”. Market Postponed The Easter Mountain Market scheduled for this afternoon at the Katherine Beatson Health House has been postponed until Saturday. The market will be open all day. Tea will be served in the afternoon. For reservations phone Mrs. F. P. Bacon. Guests or ethers in Tryon without cars should notify Mrs. H. H. Pai melee and transportation wi I be provided for them. All those having cars with space for extra passengers will help the cause con siderably by calling Mrs. Parmelee. At the Hospital Chairman Charles G. Sewall re ports that donations for St. Luke’s hospital are still being received and that if those friends who are being counted upon come across as expected the amount necessai'y to maintain the hospital will be raised. All old friends and new freinds are urged to do as much as they can so the committee can make its final report.
