The Tryon Daily Bulletin Seth M. Vining. Editor Published Every Day Except Sunday Coroner Giles W. Pearson has on his place at Melrose an inter esting tomato vine. It is about 5 feet high. Monday morning he counted 43 tomatoes on it. Wednes day he picked off three ripe ones. This morning he counted 56 toma toes on the vine, and the vine is just beginning to bloom good. Maybe he should pick off some more tomatoes. Recent arrivals at Melrose Lodge are: Miss E. Tenner, of New York, Miss Gould, of New York; Mrs. W. W. Deupree of Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Francis N. Williams of North Hampton, Mass.; Mrs. Nosbit, of Dan Wyck. S. C.; and Miss Blair, of Winter Haven, Fla. Mrs. Dale Little returned Wed nesday from a visit at Mrs. Mer rick’s cabin at Floral Beach, S. C. Roy Henderson has returned home from St. Luke’s hospital where he had an appendix opera tion.
