Garden Club Meets Wednesday Afternoon The Tryon Garden chib will meet on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 at the home of Mrs. J. B. Hester on Godshaw Hill. Governor Brownlee made his official inspection of the club and gave a brief talk on the ideals cf Kiwanis. Gold and Dan Michaelove also of Hendersonville were visitors at the meeting. Polk county farmers who dug trench silos last year say they will use them this season. Additional farmers are digging silos at present. Mr. and Mrs. Owen S. Bird are out-of-town for a few days and Mrs. C. J. Lynch is in charge of the Betsy Bird Shop.
