Club To Hold Auction Sale, 24th Money to pay off the remaining indebtedness on the Pearson’s Falls reserve, the wildlife sanctuary of the Tryon Garden club, is the ob jective of an auction sale to be held by the Garden club on Friday, March 24th. It is planned to have a sale of worthwhile articles—one that will attract buyers and bring in a goodly sum of money, and which will benefit not only the Garden club fund for Pearson’s Falls, but will also be renumerative to those who put up artices to be sold. For those who do not wish to contribute articles outright will be paid one half of the price received at the auction. Articles are being solicited in classes, (1) those out- and (2) those to be sold on a basis of 50-50 between the donator and the Garden club. Things of a very indefinite value— having neither beauty nor utili ty—are not desired, because they cannot be sold. The auction sale is being directed by Mrs. Ralph Erskine, who will be pleased to supply full informa tion to prospective donors, and everyone interested in Pearson’s Falls is urged to confer with Mrs. Erskine without delay. All Tryon is expected to be at Harmon Field wicn or with out dogs tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. The way the entry blanks are filling, this year s show will exceed any we have had in the past. For those who will be attending for the first time, we would like to say that our classes include the dog with the shortest tail, the dog with most doubtful ancestry, the “doggonest” dog, the “wagginest” tg.il dog, and many other classes. All you dog owners who have not filled out your entry blanks for the Any and All Dog Show tomorrow, please ’ be at Harimm Field at 2:15 at the dog show ring. There you will find Mrs. Harmon Van derhoef, Mr. Jerry Drew and Mr. Ralph Erskine. These three efficient students of the dog will be ready to take any post-entries and give you all the information needed per tairi”g to Try on’s eighth An nual Any and All Dog Show.
