Sunny View School Gives To Red Cross The Sunny View school went over the top in its Junior Red Crews* campaign this week and turned in $5. representing 50 cents a room. All the schools of the county responded 100 per cent in the Junior Red Cross campaign to enlist the interest of students In the welfare of suffering humani ty everywhere. The Sunny View campaign was directed by the principal, Floyd E. Millsaps. Nessmith leaves this weekend for Charlotte to attend the convention of the Motion Picture Theatre Owners of Ameri ca. He will return on Tuesday. Rev. R. E. Ellis of Landrum leaves this afternoon for three months study at the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Ky. During his absence the Landrum Baptist pulpit will be supplied by Dr. W. F. Bine of the Bible faculty of Furman Univer sity, Greenville, S. C. Mrs. Alexander Knott and son, Sandy, of Chicago, are here for the Christmas holidays with Sandy’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Burtenshaw. Mrs. David Hedekin of Atlanta and Mrs. Russel McPherson of Jacksonville are guests of the Walter Hills at Many Levels. John Kittrell of Mieadville, Pa., has arrived home for a visit with his mother, Mrs. C. W. Kittrell. Mr. Kittrell will be married on Tuesday, Dec. 3, to Miss Gertrude Cooke of Spartanburg. The wed ding will be held at the First Presbyterian church in Spartan burg at 8:30.
