Hospital Friend Sends SSO From Boston Lewis I. Prouty, husband of the author of “Stella Dallas” was a patient for a few days last week at St. Luke’s hospital. It was during the beginning of Hos pital Week and he was so im pressed with the work and needs of the hospital that when he re turned to Boston he sent the hos pital a check for SSO as a con tribution to the campaign fund to help others who are not able to pay. Additional new donors re ported this morning include: The Misses Yale and Vance. Miss Frances Hudson. V Mrs. Orton Lowe. ' Mrs. Katherine C. Shapleigh. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Brown. Mrs. J. A. Feagan of Columbus. Shannon Merriwether. Andrews & Swann. Mrs. D. H. Maloney. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Calhoun. - Misses Alice and Virgina Bland. E. Perry Manville. As the Treasurer B. L. Bal lenger wants to make his report to the Trustees as soon as pos sible all friends of the hospital are requested to send. in their donations or pledges as soon as possible. If it isn’t convenient to pay now, just send in a pledge of intention to pay so the hospital secretary will have something to work on. ' It may be more con venient this summer, or this fall [Vhen the harvest comes in. The [Secretary of the hospital will be glad to notify you at the time you desire.
