C., Oct. 20.—Two Tryon cadets are among the 765 recruits who have been formally received into the corps of cadets at The Citadel, The Military Col lege of South Carolina, upon com pletion of the six-weeks recruit training period. In a special ceremony on the parade ground Friday the recruit classes was presented by Cadet Lieutenant-Colonel A. Darby Wil liams, Jr., of Jacksonville, Fla., to the corps. Following inspection by the cadet colonel, Alvah H. Chapman, Jr., of Columbus, Ga., the 765 new men marched across the parade ground and into the companies of upperclassmen. This week the recruits—no long er recruits but members of the corps—move into their respective company areas.
