GENERAL^ELECTRIC Hunt Club Officers Elected At the annual meeting of the Tryon Riding & Hunt Club held at the Fox and Hound room of Pine Crest Inn, the following offi cers were elected: President Car ter P. Brown; vice-president and treasurer Chas. J. Lynch; secre tary, Samuel A. Bingham; new directors: H. S. Thatcher and Jcel Stockard. The usual spring activities of the club will be carried on at the •retion of the directors. Work keeping trails open will con tinue as this is a recreation area for horseback riders in the large cities. The horse and hound show will be held in modified form for the benefit of some worthy cause. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Presbyterian church will meet on Tuesday at 3:45 with Mrs. J. S'. Kell. Topic: “Christ, the Church, and the World,” Foreign Mission study. Fred Anderson of Pine Crest Inn is spending the weekend at Greensboro. Postmaster W. H. Stearns is a patient at St. Luke’s hospital.
