James (Buddy) Burford on June
19th in Graham, S. C. The baby
will be named for his grandfath

Mrs. Marvin Patterson Fincher
has opened the Dining Room at
the Sky Vue hotel.
Mrs. Grover Byers (Nell John
son) had a very bad fall of about
twenty-fice steps on Saturday at
the “Lucky Tavern”. It is hoped
she was not seriously injured.
£ill Tinsley is visiting his
brother, John, in Knoxville, Tenn.
This is his last furlough home.
Mrs. Fred Hendershot is the
guest of Miss R. E. Blair. Miss
Blair has just returned from the
hospital in Hendersonville where
she spent a few days recuperating
from a cataract operation.
