The patient is George Petit, 14 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Petit on Tryon Route One. He has been taken to Hickory for treat ment. T. Foster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Foster was killed in action in France. Besides his parents he is survived by his widow, the former Miss Myrtle Case. Pfc. Harold Nessmith is visit ing his family while enroute to Fort Monmouth, N. J. Cpl. Marshall Culver has re turned to Tyndall Field, Fla. after a visit with Miss Jean Derby. It is Capt. John David Mc Geachy now. Clyde Pack of the Merchant Marines is visiting his mother, Mrs. B.. Pack. Pvt. Grady Ross is home on furlough. Cpl. Wofford Foster has retum edto Camp Stewart, Ga. after a brief visit with his family here, The War \Dept. has informed Mr. and Mrs. Butler Champion that their son, Pfc. Troy Cham pion, was slightly wounded on Aug. 3 in France. He is now in a hospital in England. Sgt. and Mrs. W. J. Derby have returned to Greenville after a two weeks visit with Dr. and Mrs. J. E.
