HOSPITAL NEWS Mrs. Alvin Williams of Tryon Route One has returned home af ter treatment. Mrs. Clyde Pittman is in for treatment. Other pa tients include Mrs. Woodrow Wil liams of Tryon Route One, Mrs. George Plemmons of Saluda, Mrs. Conrad Englehart of Tryon Route One. Mtiss Elena Garcia and Mass Jane Brown will leave Thursday for a week-end visit on the South Carolina Coast at Miurrel’s Inlet. Mrs. Warren W. Way and daughter, Mass Evelyn Way, of Oxford, Miss., will arrive Thurs day for a visit in Tryon. Mr. and Mjrs. Roy Symes, who have been occupying the Way house on Godshaw Hill are leaving Thurs day. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Winoher are leaving Tryon this afternoon for Buffalo, N. Y., to attend the funeral of Msr. Wincher’s mother, Mrs. Lillian Wincher, who passed away this morning after an illness of several years. Mrs. Frank Cochran left Sunday for Oxford, Mich., to visit Ed ward Cochran, who is employed by the Metemara Country Club. She will go to Kimberly, Wis., and to Canada to visit friends before re turning home. Mrs. F. J. Marshall of Baltimore, Md., is the guest of Mrs. Chas. J. Lynch. Miss Gelolo Iris Kell has as her guest, her roommate, Miss Mar garet Frazier of Blaine, Tenn. CIVIC THEATRE Landrum, S. C.
