Letter From Joe Dedman Dear Home Friendly Club, I received one of your letters tonight and I am very sorry that I have not written to you before now. But we all have been so busy putting the ship in commission and cleaning it up that I had not much time to do much writing. I know a lot of the guys that were listed in your letters. I went out to the Naval Training Center and saw some of them. I talked to some of them from home and they sure are glad to ^eKk^rorri home. I appreciate all the^(tters and cards you have written me. I will close for now, because news out here is very scarce. You keep the letters coming and I will do my best to answer them all. Joseph E. Dedman. S> A. USS LST 855, care F. P. O.
