ROTARY MEETS FRIDAY ■V I George Vance will be in charge* of the Tryon Rotary Club prrogra«» Friday at 1 p. m., at Oak Hau hotel., Carroll Rogers Reappointed To State Sanitation Board Governor Kerr Scott has ap pointed six members of the Stat? stream sanitation committee which was created by the 1951 legisla ture to curb stream pollution in the State. Carroll P. Rogers was one of the members appointed. Mr. Rogers was a member of the initial state committee appoint ed by Governor Scott before the legislature created the committee to work within the State Board of Health. The committee has" the chief engineer of the State Board of Health and the chief engineer of the water resources and engin eering division of the Development of Conservation and Development as ex-officio members. ^ Mr. Rogers was a member of feering division of the Department of Conservation and Development for many years and has been active in developing the mineral resourc es of the state as well as industrial and business enterprises and re creational facilities.
