Mrs. Lee Haynes has returned hoftie from a two weeks vacation with her sons, Huey, John and J. D. Haynes An Detroit. Huey and John Haynes of Det roit are spending a 10 days vaca tion with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Haynes at Mill Spring. Mr. and Mrs. R. 0 .Burnett have returned from a trip to Myrt le Beach, S. C. Ligon Flynn and Bill Baker have gone to Chapel Hill to attend the second session of the University summer school. Raymond Anderson has returned from Raleigh where he attended summer shool at the State College. Monte Dedman and sons Monte Jr., and Bobby, have returned from a trip to Florida. Mrs. Graves Taylor and daugh ter, Leslie and son Bill, have gone to Cleveland Ohio for a short vacation and to attend the wedding of Mrs. Taylor’s sister, Miss Gret chen Schenider to Ralph L. Hirsch of Cleveland Heights. Beginning August, 2nd ' The Peniel Baptist Church will hold evangelistic services each night at 7:45 o’clock for ten days. Evan gelist Joe Parsons of Wadesboro, N. C. will conduct the services. Special singing will feature each meeting. Rev. Furman Jackson is pastor of the Peniel Church. Cemetery cleaning will be “held this Saturday July 38th at Paniel Baptsit Church all day. Friends _ and relatives with loved ones buried there are invited to help clean up the cemetery.
