Daily Except (Est. 1-31-2&__Saturday and Sunday_6c. Per Copy ENTERED AS SECOND CLASS MATTER AUGUST 20, 1928, AT THE POSTOFFICJI _AT TRYON, N. C: UNDER THE ACT OF CONGRESS, MARCH 3, 1879 Weather Monday: High 86, low 64, Rel. Hum. 65. . . . Elbert H. Arledge, printer, has installed a modern automatic press. A lot of people seeing the machine go into the building during the week-end thought The Bulletin was getting a new machine. We need one that will print twice as much and twice as fast ,in order to take care of the work each day. For the present we have to start printing pages of The Bulletin just as soon as we get two of them set up in type That means we must have half the paper printed Hie day be it comes out in order to make schedule. Those friends who |tf%tli Ottr bring m ads late m the morning hold up the paper. If you know of news that will develop tell us ahead of 'time if possible, don’t wait several days after it has happened. To keep the paper newsy we must have information while it is news. Some people don’t tell us news some times because-they think we already know it, and we miss it. So please remember “we don’t know nothing.” Hope the double negative will remind you to give your friends a break. Take us into your confidence. Often we can work with you and get a better story that will be timely If we know in advance.
