Mrs. - Donald Keeter and two children of High Point, have re turned home after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Thompson. Little Charles Pace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Odell Pace, is ill with flu. S. E. Elmore and family of Spin dale, who have been at their cot tage for a short time, returned home Monday. 4 On Monday, August 27th, there will be a Moody Bible Institute film shown at the Presbyterian Church at 8 p. m. Tile two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Thompson which was seriously hurt Tuesday afternoon when one of the older children released, the brake on Mr. Thompson’s truck which was park ed and ran over the child, is in a critical condition in the Patton Memorial Hospital in Henderson^ ‘ ville. ?*'T Visitors over the week-end of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Johnson were Mrs. Bill Jones and son, Tokey, of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. G. L. Crawford of Asheville and Mr. and Mirs. Oliver Jennings and daugh ter, Pay, of Old Hickory, Tenn.
