TRYON, N. C. WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 1953
Weather Tuesday: high 87, low
54, Rel. Hum. 46. Niobody has com
plained about this weather so far
except that it is a little too cool
without a sweater or coat at night.
Tryon’s temperature readings are
taken by Observer Creasman who
lives near Sunnydale. Some people
win claim that it was colder at
their places. It was just as cold
Monday in Tryon with a 53 as it
was in Duluth, Minn, and cooler
than Dever’s 61, Boston 60, Buf
falo 50. Asheville had the same
reading as Tryon’s 53 low, and
that broke Asheville’s low record
for July of that day. You just
can’t beat this Tryon weather for
365 days as a whole. Some places
are cooler in summer and some are
warmer in winter, but for year
round living, it’s delightful, full of
variety and charm stimulating
one’s love of adventure in pursuing
hobbies or sports, so one reasons
why not work here if one has to
work and enjoy these other delight
ful advantages ... At the Trvon
Chamber of Commerce meeting

that the Chamber of Commerce of
