Bulletin.Thurs., Nov. 13, 1980 Tryon Daily Annandale-McCall Ensign and Mrs. G. Wesley McCall. Jr. Miss Roselyn Annandale, daughter of Mrs Clyde Bullard Annandale and the late Mr Annandale of Marietta, Ga and Glenn Wesley McCall. Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Wesley McCall of Landrum. S. C. were married. Sat., Oct. 4th at 2 p m in Marietta Bible Chapel. Marietta. The double ring wedding ceremony was performed by the bride's brother, the Rev. Clyde Thomas Annandale. The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather. Dr. Cyrus Bernard Conner of Chatanooga, Tenn. The maid of honor was the bride's sister. Miss Caroline Annandale of Marietta. Ga. The bridesmaids were the bride's sister. Miss Katherine Eve Annandale, Marietta; Miss Amy Margaret Annandale. Marietta and Mrs Mae Belle Annandale King (Mrs Robert S. > of Portland, Oregon. The groom's father served as best man. Ushers were Bruce Darling of Johnson City. Tenn. ; Lovis Roller of Marietta and John Schimm of Atlanta The reception was given by the bride's mother, at the fellowship hall of Marietta Bible Chapel The bride’s book was kept by Joylyn Marple of Marietta. Assisting in serving were sisters of the groom: Mary Elizabeth McCall of Charlotte and Lena Eugenia McCall of Charleston, S C ; Jennie fferron of Marrietta and Gail Wofford of Atlanta. Following a wedding trip to Big Canoe, Ga they will go to Port Hueneme. Calif, where the groom will be at the Civil Engineer Corps Officers' School After this the couple will be stationed at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda. Maryland. Back Home Mr and Mrs. Richard Landis of Mimosa Road. Tryon have returned from a month-long visit to California In Bakersfield, their first stop, they visited Mr and Mrs. Dewey McEwen, sister and brother-in-law of Mr. Landis During their’visit, thirteen family members, including children, grandchildren and great-grand children of the McEwens enjoyed dinner together. The Landis' daughter and son- in-law. Ann and David Conger, drove them from Bakersfield to their home in Concord, Ca. (suburb of San Francisco) where they spent most of the next four weeks. They visited Mrs. Landis' sister-in-law. Mrs. Frank Wickhorst, at both her cabin at Lake Tahoe and her home in Oakland. Ca Included was an overnight visit to Carmel, well known for its walks along the ocean and delightful shops The Landis' found the people and terrain of California most interesting, but they were happy to return to Tryon where the trees were a blaze of color and life takes on a gentler tone MEN'S BRIDGE Results of the Men's Bridge Club held at the home of R.
