Greed Raises Its Ugly Head Again In Washington At a time like this wouldn't one think that our representatives in DC would be ashamed to even propose a $10,000 a year increase in their more than adequate present salaries. Don’t think anyone would object if we were getting that kind of value from their administration, but we are not. It certainly will add fuel to inflation. More and more appropriations, selfishly sneaked through, are coming to light such as all those freebies ex-presidents get in addition to their more than adequate pensions: Free landscaping, monthly yard costs, maintenance reupholstering of personal furniture expense, etc. Also can you imagine industry paying an employee, caught with his hand in the cookie jar, who they either fired or forced to resign, a pension. Our boys in DC are rewarding Jenrette with an $11,500 a year pension. Let’s face it, greed has been BEAT HIGH INTEREST AND INFLATION Chrysler Corporation and Bradley-Koone Motor Company are offering a special rebate to go with sale prices to assist the auto buyer during this period of high inflation and high interest.
