In ceremonies which proceeded
the Tryon-Chesnee football game
last Friday night Miss Sherry
Covil was crowned Miss Tiger
1981. Miss Covil, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Ned Covil, was one
of the senior attendants on the
1981 Homecoming Court. Miss
Covil was nominated to the court
by senior football player David
Kuether.
Miss Covil was crowned by
Miss Lisa Preston, Miss Tiger
1980, and the captains of the
football team. She was chosen
Miss Tiger in a vote conducted by
the members of the 1981 football
team.

the student body. Miss Arledge
