Car Hits Tryon
High School
A car driven by Angela Dee
Marshall of West Columbia, S.C.
hit the Tryon High School
Wednesday at 1 a.m. According
to Tryon Policeman Nathan
Shields, the driver said that she
lost control and then apparently
hit the excellerator instead of the
brakes and the car hit the
building and went into the girls
restroom.
Ms. Marshall received a cut
lower lip and had her teeth
loosened. Officer Shields said
that Ms. Marshall had driven up
here so that she could appear in
court Wed. to pay a speeding
ticket she had received earlier.
She was charged with DUI. Ms.
Marshall was taken to St. Luke s
Hospital where she was treate
and released.

reports that the gate at
Thompson & Daughter Garden
at 928 S. Trade St. was damaged
by vandals sometime Tuesday
night.
