She was a native of Mooresville, having lived in nston-Salem for the past 45 years. Leslie Dallas McClennon Jr., 45, of 621 N. Cameron Ave. died Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Baptist Hospital. Born July 31, 1943, in Winston-Salem to the late Mr. Leslie D. McClennon Sr. and Mrs. Annie Harper McClennon, he attended St. Benedict's School and graduated from Atkins High School in 1961. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Annie H. McClennon; a sister, Ms. Cynthia McClennon Chari ty of Richmond, Va.; a brother-in-law, Mr. Renard A. Charity of Richmond; one nephew, Mr. Renard A. Charity Jr. of Richmond; two nieces, Ms. Anne Harper and Ms. Renee Elizabeth Charity, both of Richmond; many other relatives and friends. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, in the chapel of the Hooper Funeral Home, with Dr. Kelly O.R Goodwin officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
