Does God exploit in order to stay ahead? God ' wants His people to fear (revere) Him. Don't bully the disadvantaged. In other words, your neighbors deserve respect and fair treat ment. "His Laws are ambigu ous" (Echoes Adult Teacher Commentary). Whether one is rich or poor, the standard is the same. God's people can nt)t be insensitive like other groups. They can't operate based on slander, hate or revenge. Scripture declares that His people can not harm (physically, emotionally or politically) anyone else. 1 guess the politicians and interest groups didn't study that part! The Almighty emphatically states that vengeance is His! Now this is where Gandhi comes in. How do you treat people who are different? Those in the majority group are not to take advantage of strangers on any level. The Chosen are warned; "Don't forget how you were treated in Egypt." Don't cheat anyone to get ahead. God is not pleased with that behavior "no matter how much you tithe" (my soap box). God, who is love, holds all of us accountable! If We are like Him, there is no respect of persons, no hatred, only love, justice and mercy. 1 S.
