PAGE EIGHT ■ ,!■■■ Janet Sessoms Is Hostess In Erwin At Bridal Shower JANET SESSOMS IS Miss Peggy Autry entertained at a surprise bridal shower at her home Friday evening feting Miss Janet Sessoms, bride-elect of July the 11. The home was very pretty with arrangements of colorful summer flowers. When the honoree arrived- she was given a corsage of white car nations and shown to her place beside a table piled high w.tii beautiful gifts. Several games were playeu and prizes were awarded to Mrs Bill Graham and Mrs. Keith Goin adella. Following the games Janet opened her gifts and passed them around for everyone to sec The hostess then invited every one into the dining room where a green and white color scheme was carried out. The table was_ covered with a lace cloth and centered witli an arrangement of mixed flowers flanked by burning white tapers in crystal holders. Refreshments of green and white block ice cream. inints > and in dividual bridal cakes were served to: Miss Janet Sessoms, honoree Mrs. Roscoe Thornton, Mrs. Mar vin West, Mrs. Keith Gomodella, Mrs. Bill Graham, Mrs. Curwood Bessoms, Mrs. Curtis Sessoms, Mrs. Haywood Butler, Mrs. Ellis Bar bour, Mrs. Rosemond Godwin. Mrs. John McCaskill, Mrs. Bob Willis, Mrs. John Autry and Miss Helen Ruth Gomodella. FAMILY PICNIC HELD OF MRS. HOLLAND Mrs. Stella Woodworth, Mrs. Anna Norris, and Mrs. Novella Holland entertained at a family picnic at the home of Mrs. Holl and Sunday honoring their brother and sister-in-law- Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis Williams of Winston-Salem. The delicious picnic, dinner was spread on tables which had been! placed on the back lawn.
