Norris of Hobgood. and Mr. Turner .is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. L. W Turner of Dunn. The father of the i bridegroom officiated at the double j ring ceremony in thp First Bap tist Church of Speed. Wedding music was presnted bv Mrs. Richard Bradley, pianist, and j Mrs. Guy Dixon, soloist. The couple entered the church together, unattended. The bride ' . wore a suit of navy blue with ’ matching accessories and a corsage of white bride’s roses. Ushers were Carl Norris, brother of trie bride, and Luthe* Turner. Jr., brother of the bridegroom. Mrs. Norris wore a navv blue suit with matching accessories and the mother of the bridegroom chose a suit of gray with accessories to match. Laughinghouse and Dorothy over the weekend. Hugh Vann Is Speaker At Meet Os Hoe ri Grow Garden Club Mrs. John Parker and Mrs. Earl Hawley were co-hostesses to mem bers of the Hoe ’N Grow Garden Club Thursday evening at the Par ker home at eight o’clock. The home of the hostess was es pecially lovely with an outstanding dried arrangement of okra, sea weed and other dried plants. Oth er arrangements in the home in cluded a fruit bouquet circled with bright autumn leaves «nd a bouquet of chrysanthemums. Mr. Hugh Vann, superintendent of the N. C. State Greenhouses gave a most enjoyable and inter esting program. His topic was on azaleas and camellias with which he used colored slides. A business program was presided over by Mrs. Parker, the president. The group discussed the sale of plants they are* having at Mickey Rouse’s Used Car lot next Tues day starting at nine o’clock.
