For 64th Session i * Cape Fear Women Meet The Women’s Home Missionary Annual Convention of the Cape Fear “B" Conference held a flowing session at McLeans’ Cha pel Church, Bunnlevel, recently with delegates, ministers and visi tors from many sections. The Rev. R. H. Creech is host pastor. He was assisted by the Rev. W. H. Hicks. The notto of the convention was “Let Brotherly Love Con tinue.” Mrs. Larcenia Harrington of Southern Pines presided. The introductory sermon was delivered by the Rev. N. M. Mc Mlllian of Fayetteville. Others who delivered sermons or addresses were the Rev. Wil son Terry. Red Springs; the Rev. J. W Peek, Southern Pines; Mrs. Rebecca Pcterkln, Raeford and Mrs. L. .T. Surles, Dunn. A workshop was held Thursday under the direction of Mrs. Eva Minter. Consultants were the Rev M. L. Williams, Rev. J. D. Ray, I and Rev. J. W. Peek. The welcome program was held that evening with Mrs Esther Walker in charge. Mrs. Bra Minter made the re sponse to the program. The Junior Missionaries under the direction of Mrs. Margret Williams, sponsored a program Music was rendered by the Mc Lean Chapel and the convention choirs . The president In addressing the convention praised the founders of this convention and noted the great progress which had been made during the years. Reports from the miaatonarv societies, ministers, delegates, members and field agents werr heard Friday.
