C. lIlMlMtftSiMtikMtSiMiSt: Ledbetters Fete Faculty Members One of the loveliest affairs of the hoBdey season was staged recently when Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Ledbetter entertained the faculty members of Harnett High School andd their guests at a Yule Party at their home on North Magnolia Avenue Extension. The spacious home was beauti fully decorated for Christmas. A huge Christmas tree was included in the decorations. The dining table, covered with a white linen cloth was accent uated with red candles. The hostess served fruK cake, candy, sandwiches, nuts, and holi day punch. The faculty members who had drawn names prior to the festive occasion exchanged lovely gifts. The faculty remembered the Ledbetters with gifts. Each chairman of the various areas received a gift from their various eo-workers. Each chair man presented his or Her co-work ers a lovely gift. Mrs. Annie Bell Evans, Mrs. Lil lie Council and Mrs Ruth Walker erttfertained Ole Missionary Society of the Dunn Chapel Free Will Baptist Church recently st a pre Christmas dinner in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Th group sang Christinas car ds after which each adult spoke briefly on the subject “What Christmas Means To Me.” The hostess served a delicious turkey dinner with all the trim mings. Homemade cake, Coffee, nuts and candy was also served. The group then exchanged gifts. Those attending the ladles’ hos pitality were: Mrs. Lula Carrall, Mrs. Fannie Smith, Mrs. Eliza beth McCormick, Mrs. Flora Blackmon, Mrs. Bell Long, Mrs. Rene McNeill, Mrs. Naomi Spence, Mrs. Eva Minter, Deacon Sidney Massey, Miss Linda Winston, Master Carneil Evans and Edward McAllUter.
