The 24-year-old, 5’5, 116-pound Berlinda is now an actress. ( Berlinda started her acting career at the age of 16. She 1 mended Morgan Eigmsalary , , ■ and Second Ward High School. While at second Ward she J received the “Best Actress" award for three consecutive years, ome of her high school , plays included “Angel Street" and “Street Car Name De sire.” These plays were pro duced by Show Case Theatre in Charlotte. She also appeared in “Day of Absence,” produced by Festival Theatre and also “Snow Angel’1. Miss Tolbert is a graduate of The North Caro lina School of Art in Winston,. Salem. She also attended The Rose Bruford School of Act ing, Stockwell College, in London, England. Berlinda’s plays while in college included “Macbeth,’’ “Hard Break House,” and f “Just Assins”. JNCC Workshop Planned For Women The University of North Carolina at Charlotte will sffer a second workshop on jssertive for women. The first was held last summer.
