WBTV To Present “The World600’77” TUB BYOUR PAPER USETT in a WBTV Sports Special, Sports Director Jim Thacker and Sportscaster Bob Taylor take a look at the nation's longest stock car race from the press point of view, in “The World 600 77 - Headlines and Finishlines,” Mon day May 30 at S:30 p.m on WBTV. Channel 3. While the rest of the press is covering the race, WBTV will be covering the press to see just bow they go about keeping tabs on the biggest cfrawing sports event in the Southeast, with the exception of the Ken tucky Derby. Reporters from mg ana small town newspapers, na tional magasines and publica tions, a crew from CBS, a nation-wide radio broadcast team • all have their own way of obtaining the information they need, and this is what WBTV cameras will be obser ving. Cameras will also take you into the Press Box to see the activity there. And, they’ll focus on a representative of the Associated Press, who has been assigned specifically to take pictures of Elizabeth Taylor, the famous movie star who will be Grand Marshall of the Ran. --— — Along with a look at the press at work, “The World 600 "77 - Headlines Finish lines,” will also highlight exci ting moments of the race itself. > Cultural Heritage?
