Ruby Eaves Johnson, the first Black Post Master in Granite Quarry, NC was honored recently at The White Rock AME Zion Church in Granite Quarry during “Black Awareness Day”. Family members of Mrs. Johnson and members of the West Charlotte Alumni Asso ciation 1946-47 were present at the tribute. Mrs. Johnson is a member of Mount Carmel Bap tist ghurch and West Charlotte Alumni. ^Members of theJWest Charlotte Alumni 1946-47 honored Mrs. Carrie Boler Feb. 24 for her dedication and loyalty to the Alumni Association.
