Approximately 100 guests enjoyed a delicious luncheon, games and other activities. The Charlotte Chapter was charted 17 years ago. Johnsie Coving ton is our local founder. There are 26 chapters across the United States with a membership of 460. The Chums have contributed to. Sickle Cell Anemia, the United Negro College Fund, several scholarship funds to deserving students as well as other civic and charitable organizations.
