Church News Briefs Mt. Olive Concert Choir To Present Concert Bv Teresa Burns Post Staff Writer Mt. Olive Baptist Church Concert Choir will present their first musical concert Sunday, March 1, at 5 p.m. The musical director for the concert is Joseph Mcllwain. The Concert Choir is using as their theme song "Never Alone" written and arranged by Walter Hawkins Angela Davis will be the choir’s lead soloist for this song. This concert will bring sqme_ of the hidden vocal talents in the church with special emphasis on the young adult and youth “Be grateful" written by Walter Haw kin and sung by Juanita Henderson and 'choir is one example. The choir will sing eight or more songs related to black history and black culture Accompanying the Con cert Choir will be the Kirk patrick Brothers and their rhythm session from Mat thews. Accompanying pianist is Eric English Guest soloist is Patricia Donald. The concert will open and tfuse w ith a tiue feeling of the theme song "Never Alone.” The public is cordially invited to attend this con cert. The annual barbeque sponsored by the Senior Choir will be held Friday and Saturday, February 27 28 from 10 a m. until 7 p.m. Dr. Max B.
