Fraternity To Sponsor Fifth Annual Beautillion Militairp The Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is sponsoring its fifth annual Beau tillion Militaire, a leadership training project for high school senior men. The Beaux that were picked for this project have exemplified a combination of superior scholar ship, outstanding leadership and continued community involve ment. The young men have engaged in a series of seminars and work shops designed to aid them social ly, educationally, morally, cultur ally and economically. They have been introduced to outstanding personalities such as Dr. Robert Albright, vice chan cellor of Student Affairs at UNCC; Dr. Bertha Maxwell of UNCC; Bill Cunningham of Hatchett and Cun ningham Associates; Dr. Carl Squires and Dr. David Hunter of Central-Piedmont Community Col lege; William Pickens of the Con sumer Credit Counseling Bureau; Shirley Farrar of the Afro-Ameri can Cultural Center; Rev. Edward in ew Derry ot Memorial United Presbyterian Church; Mary Martin of the County’s Exten sion Service; Humphrey Cum mings of the Equal Employment --_Qppp»tmiity rnn.r.;minn.
