From 1973 to 1978, Carlton released four albums for Warner Brothers and two in Ja pan through Warner/Pioneer that attained gold and silver. The label, however, released Carlton and other jazz artists. Carlton ven tured into other avenues. By 1977, hi* career with the Crusaders had drawn to a close.
