The infor mal setting is designed to promote discussion on issues such as the purpose and need for the project, conceptual alternatives and study corridors, stake holder issues and concerns, and future steps in the project development process. The same information will be presented at bo^ workshops. There will not be a formal presentation - participants are encouraged to drop in at any time between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Interested persons may also submit written comments or questions to the address below. NCTA is proposing to make improvements in the US 74 corridor from I- 485 to US 74 near the town of Marshville. Several alternatives, including improving the existing US 74 corridor and constructing a new location facil ity, are under consideration. Several alternative corridors for a new location facility are being studied. As part of the project, NCTA will .study the feasi bility and impacts of developing the propo.sed project, in whole or in part, as a toll road.
