Week program
Dr. James M. Dunn, Executive Director of
the Baptist Joint Committee on Public
Affairs, was the featured speaker in Oc
tober, when Chowan observed Baptist
Heritage Week. Pictured with Dr. Dunn

who is also associate pastor of Willow
Oaks AME Church, Rich Square. The
annual program, attended by all members
of the student body, faculty and staff, was
held in Helms Center.
New Computer
Services Added
A new computer center has been opened within Carrie Savage
Camp Hall to provide science and mathematics students op
portunities for independent work. The center is equipped with
modem computers and laser printers.
