Former Resident Buried At Shallotte Living at Watha with her daughter, Mrs, Thurman Garriss, Mrs. Susan Tripp Leonard, na tive of the Shallotte community, died Sunday morning and was buried Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Mt. Carmel Free Will Baptist church near Shal i lotte. Mrs. Leonard was 80 years old. She is survived by one son, W. L. Leonard of ShaJlotte; four daughters, Mrs. A- L. Hewett of Wilson; Mrs. O. !§, Worthington of Wilmington; Mrs. Thurman Garris of Watha; Mrs. J. C. Clif ton of Whiteville. Three brothers, L. C. Tripp of Ash; James P. and W. E.
