where Mr. White was Super

“We lived on the campus
eight years,” says Mrs. White,
“and there I began taking care
of the professors’ children.
Soon others found I was will
ing to work with the children
instead of just baby sitting,
and they began bringing young
sters to me for care.
“We moved from the
campus in 1955 when Mr.
White took a job at Mars nill
College. We moved into a
house on Country Club Road
and I stayed here while he
worked at Mars Hill. That
year I had a class of 18- chil- ,
