The company has 852 super markets throughout the South, many in the local area. Com menting on Winn-Dixie’s pro motion of home-grown prod ucts, Executive Vice President Joe A. Adams said; “The high quality of C^folina mountain - grown products is bringing an increasing number of comments from our custom ers. We are grateful for the contribution Carolina growers themselves are making in pro viding us with these harvest fresh fruits and vegetables. “Similarly, our purchases at Hendersonville follow our long standing policy of buying from growers in our own operating areas wherever possible.” High School Students Visit The Brevard College Campus On Tuesday, November 16, Brevard College hosted high school students from Transyl vania and Henderson Coun ties at the first annual Bre vard College Day Program. Over 100 students from Tran sylvania County and nearly 30 students from Henderson Coun ty attended the program. A minimal amount of planning was done for this program in hopes that the stud dents attending would get the best possible idea of what the program is like at Brevard Col lege. Students arrived on campus at 10:3d. They attended class es at 11:00 with college stud ents so that they would get an idea of how the classes were taught Toby Ives, Admis sions Director stated, “we tried to have students attend classes in subjects which they were especially interested.” The visiting students ate lunch in the cafeteria with the college students. “After lunch,” continued, Mr. Ives, “we answered questions about the college program in order to find out some of the things they were interested in.” Shortly after that, the visit ing students were Invited to go to a specific area of the college whether it be the Li brary, the Science Building, Physical Education facilities or the Classroom Building for the humanities, where they had a specific Interest Here they talked with teach ers and other students who shared those interests. Fir those students that had not been on campus before, a tonr was arranged so they could see the general facili ties of the college. Students then returned to their re respective high schools in the afternoon. Nancy Hammill of East Main Street Extension will appear as Anna. The drama by Max Frisch centers around two arsonists and their invasion of the home of a wealthy businessman. The production, opening Nov. 15 and running through Nov. 20, will be the University Theatre’s entry in the American College Theatre Festival. Cathy, a sophomore, is the daughter of Mrs. Jean H. Dixon. She is majoring in speech and 'theatre arts and is a member of the University Theatre Fam ily. Nancy, also a sophomore is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Hammill.
