Times of the broadcasts will be published next week. —☆— The speaker this week on WPNF’s Morning Devotions program at 9:45 a.m. is the Rev. Russell Willis, pastor of the First Baptist church of Brevard. Sunday morning worship ser vices this month are being broadcast from the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Thornberg is pastor. The lineup for the Farm and Home Hour this week is as fol lows: Thursday, Station Pro gram; Friday, A.S.C.S.; Monday, County Extension Chairman Jerry Purser; Tuesday, Station Program; Wednesday, Jean Childers, Home Economics Ex tension Agent. For Advent Season First Methodists To Have Two Services This Sunday Advent events will be cele brated in two services at First United Methodist crurch Sun day with special features in each service. At the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service selections from Messiah by George Frederick Handel . will be rendered by the Chancel ! Choir and soloists under the di i rection of the Reverend Nelson , F. Adams, Minister of Music. 1 Included will be “Comfort Ye My People,” “And the Glory of i the Lord,” “The People That Walked in Darkness,” “Glory to God in the Highest,” “He Shall i__ Feed His Flock,” and ‘Come Unto Him.” Soloists will be Mrs. Leon Lee, Mrs. Carolyn Cox, Mrs. John Storrs, and Dr. Frank B. McGuire. Organ selections by Mr. Adams will include “Pastorale Symphony” and “Overture” from Messiah. The Rev. Orion N. Hutchin son, Jr., Minister of the Church, will preach on “Take Unto Thee Mary,” a sermon in a series on “Angelic Encounters.” At 7:15 p.m. there will be a Service of Carols and Lessons in a candlelight atmosphere. The Children’s, Youth, and Chancel Choirs will provide music and lead in carol sing ing. Sharing the leadership in the service with the Minister and Educational Assistant, Miss Theresa Cantrell, will be offi ■ CfaW of the congregation includ ing Ben Maree, J. I. Ayers, Dr. Frank B.
